The Angels hitmaker has long battled with drink and drug problems, most recently fighting a three year addiction to painkillers and anti-depressants during the mid 2000s.

Shakespeare is still taught as part of the GCSE curriculum across schools in England. But as most lessons are taken up just trying to explain the meaning of the text to children are we teaching them something that is irrelevant, or can children draw something from Shakespeare which makes it justified?
Modern film makers have tried to bring it closer to the average level of understanding by modernising the look of it – Romeo and Juliet being the prime example.Some would argue that this is destroying the very nature of it, and some would argue that this is the only way to keep Shakespeare in the 21st centruy.
What do you think. Does Shakespeare still have a place or is it time to move on?

Advice on summer shoes for 13-month old boy. Sock or no socks? What type should I get?

My 13-month old son has only owned 1 pair of shoes so far. We are going this weekend to buy summer shoes for him, and I am a bit confused as of what to buy.

Can I buy a “clog” type shoe, where he doesn't need to wear socks? Or does he need socks because this will be his second pair of shoes and he needs good (more…)
